IEMSR Web Form Creation Tools
The IEMSR web form creation suit of tools are to provide repository managers with a graphical view of application profiles stored in the IEMSR. Through this tool they will be able to:
- View contextual information about each element for a specific application profile
- View relationships and dependancies between elements
- View usage statistics of each element
- Remove optional elements from the web form
- Have a locally tailored version of the profile that is compliant
- Control the web form that the user can see
- Publish the web form
Usage statistics will be collected and stored in the IEMSR by observing how each element is used or if it is used at all.
Repository users (depositors) will be able to use the web form created by the repository manager to:
- View contextual information about each element
- View relationships and dependancies between elements
- View usage statistics of each element
This will assist the depositor in filling out the necessary metadata for their deposit and speed up the time it takes to deposit an item.
To deposit the metadata to the institutional repository the tool will include a sword client.
